Description
Description
Mastiha water is the aqueous extract of mastiha obtained from the steam distillation of Chios Mastiha Resin. It is a 100% natural extract that carries all the water-soluble components of mastiha while containing a small amount of its essential oil, Chios Mastiha Oil, conveying the authentic aroma of Chios Mastic.
Use: It can be used as a flavoring in cooking and pastry making. Add 1 cap of mastiha water to a glass of water or juice, in your favorite hot or cold beverage, to naturally flavor it. It has a low pH, so it should not be consumed directly, only diluted.
Alternatively, it can be used as a moisturizing and toning facial lotion, providing freshness and a natural glow to the skin. It can also be used for cleansing and perfuming your body. Mastiha water is dermatologically & ophthalmologically tested.
Useful Information
Mastiha water is obtained from natural Chios Mastiha Resin through steam distillation, during the distillation of Chios Mastiha oil, and is then separated from it through a simple phase separation process.
